A Recent Fand Publication
Carey Blyton
Collected Short Stories

Fand Music is deeply sorry to have learned of the recent death of Carey Blyton (on Saturday 13th July 2002) with whom we have had a long association, and particularly so soon after our publishing of his Collected Short Stories.

Carey Blyton, nephew of the children’s writer Enid Blyton, was born in Beckenham, Kent in 1932. He is a well-known composer and achieved world-wide fame as the creator of the nonsense song ‘Bananas in Pyjamas’.

Throughout his career he has also been a writer of prose and here, collected for the first time, are his complete short stories, together with 'Summer in the Country', a fragment of autobiography dealing with his experiences as a wartime evacuee.

To order this 120-page hardback book, priced in the UK at £14.00 which includes postage and packing, please use the Order Form, quoting catalogue number FM093.

"Buy this book and read it; enjoy the gentle humour and wonder about a man who so loves to write he does it in words, songs and music; and all very well indeed."  Musical Opinion
