Chinese Lantern Music was written for Anne Claxton and the Petersfield Area Youth Orchestra. It was first performed by that orchestra (under the baton of David Thomas) in the Petersfield Musical Festival, March 1992.
This work is perfectly suitable for performance by school, youth or amateur orchestra.
